The Role of Faith in Recovery:

Faith can be a guiding light in your path to recovery. Did you know that Eating Disorders are mentioned, specifically in the Bible? Check out Psalms 107: 18-21: “They loathed all food and drew near the gates of death. Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he reduced them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.” Recovery is a CHOICE that is made it faith that if you do the thing that you HATE, that TERRIFIES you, then you will eventually be recovered. Recovery is a choice that you must make, in faith, every minute of every day. It’s a hard choice, but one that is SO worthwhile on the other side.
