Ever heard of Google Keep? I hadn’t either until I came across it on TikTok from the user Ashley Guerrero. She talked about how it helped her stay organized as a teacher, however, I saw real potential with blogging to do lists.
There is just something about checking off an item on a to do list that makes my heart so happy! ‘Google Keep’ keeps all of your to do list together so that they are all easily seen. THEN, it has the option of linking with your ‘Google Calendar’, which is how I keep my entire life organized.
I really enjoyed the personalization that you can add to these lists. Below is a quick picture of what my ‘Google Keep’ page looks like. I loved all of the color options that I had!
To start creating your own ‘Google Keep’ lists, follow the instructions below:
- Download Google Keep to your phone! I love being able to add and check off items away from my computer. However, I would also open it on your computer and do your designing from there.
- At the top of your computer page, hit the ‘Take note’ button
3. From there, you will title your note and start adding your notes or lists!
4) Let’s go over the buttons that are at the bottom: The bell means ‘remind me’. This button will link it to your google calendar! The second button means ‘add collaborators’. This will share your list with others and let others add and check off items. The third button is a design button. It lets you change the background color of your note. The 4th button, that looks like a picture, is what lets you add your heading. You can add a picture here OR you can create a heading- more on that soon! The 5th button lets you archive the note. Inside the 6th button (the three dots) you have even more options, such as adding lables, drawings and checkboxes.
5) And that’s it! Using these steps, you can create whatever kind of list or note that you want!

The headings are SO cool. At first, I just added pictures. But I wanted to make them more dramatic. So… I learned how to make them!
